Actor Farman Haider is winning appreciation for his portrayal of Shivay in the popular Zee TV show Jagadhatri, produced by Rahul Tewary Production. With the recent promo hinting at a deeper emotional connection between Shivay and Jagadhatri, audiences are eagerly waiting to see how their relationship unfolds in the upcoming episodes. Opening up about his character, the evolving storyline, and the emotional layers of the show, the actor shares in an exclusive chat with IWMBuzz.com that Shivay’s feelings are rooted in purity and selflessness rather than grand confessions.

Talking about Shivay’s emotions for Jagadhatri, Farman says, “Shivay’s love for Jagadhatri is very pure and selfless. It’s not about expectations or confession—it’s more about silently standing by her, protecting her, and understanding her without demanding anything in return. As an actor, portraying this kind of restrained emotion is beautiful because a lot is expressed through eyes and silence rather than words.”

The actor also hints that viewers will soon witness a much deeper connection between the two characters. “Yes, the promo definitely gives a glimpse of something deeper developing between Shivay and Jagadhatri. While I can’t reveal much, I can say that their journey is going to be layered, emotional, and very real. It’s not a typical love story—it grows through trust, shared pain, and circumstances, which makes it more relatable,” he shares.

Speaking about the complexities of playing Shivay, Farman reveals that balancing multiple emotional shades is what excites him the most as an actor. “That’s actually the most exciting part about playing Shivay. Every day on set brings a new emotional graph. Switching between being a tough STF officer and then a vulnerable brother/son or a silent lover is challenging, but it keeps me creatively engaged. I try to stay very present in each moment and understand Shivay’s intention in every scene—that helps me transition between these layers smoothly,” he explains.

According to the actor, the emotional similarity between Shivay and Jagadhatri forms the strongest foundation of their relationship. While Shivay is trying to protect/reform Rudra, Jagadhatri has been highly protective of her sister, Tapasya. “I think this is what subconsciously connects them. Both are fighters in their own way, carrying responsibilities for their families. They don’t always express their pain, but they understand each other’s struggles without words. This emotional parallel creates a strong foundation for their bond, making it deeper than just romance,” he says.

Teasing the upcoming twists in the show, Farman promises that audiences are in for an emotional rollercoaster. “Viewers can expect a lot of twists, emotional highs, and unexpected turns. The dynamics between Shivay and Jagadhatri will evolve in a very interesting way. Along with that, the storyline will keep intensifying with action, drama, and some heartfelt moments that I’m personally very excited about. A lot is coming up that will keep the audience hooked,” he concludes.
