For Friends aficionados, the 2021 Friends Reunion had to be the most memorable event of the year. Even before the film’s release, it was clear that the cast would be revealing behind-the-scenes tidbits from the 1990s comedy.
Fans went nuts when David Schwimmer admitted to having a crush on Jennifer Aniston and vice versa, and rumors began to circulate a few days after the reunion special that the former co-stars were genuinely in love. Fans had long longed for Ross and Rachel to date, as their on-again, off-again romance on the original show was adored by all.
The Morning Show host, on the other hand, has disproved every rumor. “That was peculiar,” Jennifer Aniston stated. That was something I couldn’t believe. What do you mean? That’s my younger brother over there! However, I am aware of that. It just goes to show how optimistic people are for their aspirations to come true.”
Jennifer Aniston’s and David Schwimmer’s representatives had previously denied their romantic involvement, but Aniston’s confession will break the hearts of many ‘Friends’ fans. “The first season I had a tremendous crush on Jen,” David revealed on the reunion special, “it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship, and we never passed that border,” he explained.
