Handsome hunk Sehban Azim, who had an exceptional journey on TV with projects like Dill Mill Gayye, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Dil Dosti Dance, Humsafars, Silsila Pyaar Ka, Thapki Pyar Ki, Bepannaah, Tujhse Hai Raabta, is once again back to entertain his fans.

The actor is currently seen as Yohan Nanda in Colors’ latest release Spy Bahu. The show follows the journey of a spy, Sejal (played by Sana Sayyad) who sets out on a mission to uncover a suspected terrorist Yohan Nanda (played by Sehban Azim), but ends up falling in love with him. Just like any other couple, Sejal and Yohan are head over heels in love with each other. But at the same time, they both are harboring secrets and are about to take a risk that will make or break their relationship.

Excited about his new show, Sehban said, “If I am an audience, I prefer watching thriller plus romantic story rather than a simple love story. I believe it adds a lot to the storyline. There is something quite magical about spy romances that makes them so fascinating to watch. The backdrop of the show is about two families who are exactly opposite to each other. While one is a super rich Punjabi family, the other is a simple Gujarati family. The two characters Yohan and Sejal are also completely opposite but they fall in love with each other. Apart from that, they have some hidden secrets which make their characters more intriguing. These factors make the show interesting. Also, these were the reason why I agreed to come on board.”

He continued, “My character of Yohan has many interesting layers to his persona, and I love the enigmatic vibe that he brings to the story. This story was apparently for an OTT platform. But we are glad that it is airing on Indian television now. We have never seen a spy drama on TV. Also, fans will not get to see any saas-bahu fights or any nanand and Bhabhi nok-jhok. There are exceptional twists and turns which will hook you to the show.”

When asked about his experience of shooting in Kashmir, he mentioned: “We had a fun shoot in Kashmir. When fans and friends saw the promos of the show, they called it a Yaj Raj Film. I think the channel Colors and makers have done a brilliant job. We are proud that a TV show is getting recognition for its promo. We were shooting in -7 degrees when it was extremely cold and snowing around. We have put in a lot of hard work. I hope fans enjoy and shower us with more love.”
