Actor Kiran Janjani who recently played the powerful character of a RAW agent in Colors’ Udann will now be seen in a staggeringly different role in Zee TV’s Yeh Teri Galiyan (Cinevistaas Ltd).

As reported by IWMBuzz.com, Kiran will play the role of the father who will adopt Shantanu (Ayaan Zubair Rahmani) and get him into his rich household.

Talking about his character, Kiran states, “It is a beautiful character, with an emotional connect with the kid. The character’s name is Arindam Mazumdar, a Bengali and belongs to a very rich, strict and classy family. He will adopt Shantanu from Sonagachi. I took up the role mainly because of the emotional layering it has.”

The family will be very disciplined, especially with the presence of Arindam’s father, essayed by Govind Pandey. “The patriarch of the family, that is my character’s father will be a strict disciplinarian. The family will not dare to address him as ‘Papa’ but will call him ‘Sir’.”

With the story progression, the character of Arindam will have a layering as it will come to the fore that he would have hid the fact that he’s brought Shantanu from Sonagachi. “Arindam would have told the family that he has gotten the kid from an orphanage. This is the level of love and connect that the father will have with Shantanu.”

Kiran is enjoying this phase in his career as an actor, as he has been bestowed with two varied roles in the last few months. “I enjoyed being part of Udann; this character is on a totally different tangent. I hope viewers like this new family and shower their love on us.”

Best of luck, Kiran!!
