Ravjeet Singh, who has been part of projects on TV and films like Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi, Tumhi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Sardar Ka Gransdon, is happy to be back on television in the much-loved show on Zee TV, Tumm Se Tumm Tak, produced by Studio LSD. Last seen on TV years back in Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya, Ravjeet was happy to get back to the small screen when he was given a briefing about the character, Dr Mohit, he was set to play.
As we know, Dr Mohit will be the cardiologist treating Anu’s father, Gopal Sharma, after he had a heart attack.
Talking about his entry in the show, Ravjeet, in his conversation with IWMBuzz.com says, “I had done a few negative roles in my last few projects. So when I got narrated this role, I felt it was the opposite. Tumm Se Tumm Tak is a show that has a huge audience. So I grabbed the role with both hands.”
Talking about his character, he says, “Dr Mohit has studied in the UK. He is the cardiologist who attends to Anu’s father. He meets the family for the first time.”
Ravjeet is happy to be on the sets. “I have been shooting for the past few days. I must tell you that I was welcomed warmly on the set. I am working with a great cast.”
Ask him whether he had followed the show, and Ravjeet says, “I had heard about the show, as it was Sharad Kelkar Sir’s comeback show after many years on TV. I had not seen it, though. But when I got the role, I researched the characters and the plot.”
Ravjeet talks about the huge fan following for the show. “The show has a crazy fan following. I can see it on social media.”
Tell him that the fans feel that he might come in between the blossoming love story of Anu and Arya, and he says, “I have not been briefed on what is to come. I know that this show is adapted from a hit regional show, and people can follow the storyline of the original. But I don’t know whether they are following the same story plot. Only the creative team will know whether Mohit will come between Arya and Anu or not. As of now, all I know is that I am doing my job and am the doctor treating Anu’s father.”
Lastly, on the kind of work that excites him, He says, “I am open to any good character. I am an actor who does not have inhibitions. I would love to portray different shades of a human personality.”
Best of luck!!
