Sheezan Khan, the young and talented actor, who has been part of shows like Silsila Pyaar Ka, Prithvi Vallabh, and Ek Tha Raavan, is currently seen playing the lead role of Alibaba in the Sony Sab show Alibaba Dastaan-e-Kabul. Talking about the same, he said, “I am immensely delighted to be a part of this show. Actually, there’s not just one thing that pushed me to be a part of this amazing project. Alibaba Dastaan-e-Kabul is certainly a grand show which will transport the viewers to a magical world. Along with an interesting storyline, the show offers an extra dose of entertainment with breathtaking visual effects and locations brimming with action, romance, and drama. I felt drawn to the character of Alibaba the moment I narrated the story and I really feel blessed to portray the protagonist in the show.”
When asked about his preparation for the role, he added, “I can safely say now that horse riding is now a piece of cake for me. It was challenging in the beginning but as they say, ‘Practice makes a man perfect.’ So yes, relentless practice is the key to my now effortless horse-riding skills and viewers get to witness this in the show. Learning horse riding and performing the same in a larger-than-life show like Alibaba Dastaan-e-Kabul is a lifetime experience for me.”
Further commenting on his shooting experience in Ladakh, he shared, “It was surreal. Viewers will catch a glimpse of the breathtaking mountains and chilly desert. Almost all of us faced minor health issues due to the extreme weather conditions at higher altitudes, but our unflinching team spirit, motivation, and genuine care towards one another kept us going. Having seen the output, we are certain that it was all worth it.”
Lastly, Sheezan revealed about his chemistry with co-star Tunisha Sharma and added, “Tunisha and I share a wonderful bond. Our friendship has blossomed in the short time we have spent together. She’s an incredibly talented and hardworking co-actor. In fact, I was in awe of her work based on the mock shoot itself. I am glad that she essays the role of Mariam, for she’s the perfect fit.”
