As Rahul Kumar Tewary and Rolling Tales Production’s popular show Star Plus’ Udne Ki Aasha completes two years, actor Puru Chhiber says he feels nothing but gratitude for the love the show has received from viewers.

Talking about the journey of the show, Puru shares that it is rare these days for a television show to connect with such a wide audience. According to him, “Udne Ki Aasha has managed to strike a chord with both the masses and the classes, which makes the success even more special. I feel very grateful that the show has connected with so many people. It’s not easy for a show today to reach such a wide audience. For me, it’s only gratitude.”

“People see someone from their own family or surroundings in these characters. Every household has personalities like this, and that makes the story feel very close to real life,” he explains. Puru Chhiber also admits that he didn’t come with any expectation because he believes in going with the flow. Even today, the response from the audience surprises him.

“The story is very simple and relatable. The twists and turns come from everyday life situations, so they never feel forced. I think that’s why the audience enjoys watching it,” he adds. The actor is also thankful to producer Rahul Kumar Tewary for trusting him with the role. He says that working with the team of Rolling Tales Production has been a wonderful experience.

“Rahul sir gave me this opportunity, and I’m very thankful to him. He is honestly one of the best producers I have worked with,” Puru Chhiber shares. The actor also enjoys interacting with fans who appreciate the humour he brings to the show. Many viewers tell him that he adds the fun element to the story, something he feels very grateful for.

“At the end of the day, making people laugh is one of the hardest things for an actor. So when people say they enjoy that part of my character, it makes me very happy,” he says.

As Udne Ki Aasha celebrates two years, Puru Chhiber believes the core of the show lies in its message — everyone in the story is chasing a dream. Despite obstacles, they keep moving forward, which is something many viewers relate to in their own lives.
