How do you define a successful relationship, and what do you think is its important element?
Defining a successful relationship is a bit like defining a great piece of art; everyone knows it when they feel it, but the brushstrokes are different for every couple. At its core, a successful relationship isn’t the absence of conflict; it’s the presence of a resilient partnership where both individuals feel they can grow without losing themselves.
What are the three qualities you would want your ideal partner to have?
In my view, the key ingredients for a successful relationship include effective communication, trust, and reliability. It’s also crucial to share similar values. Above all, mutual respect and emotional maturity stand out as essential elements.
What does Valentine’s Day signify for you personally?
If there is true love, affection and commitment, every day is a Valentine’s Day for me.
Veer is a total romantic. How does it feel to shoot for such sequences?
Playing Veer in Lakshmi Niwas is truly exhilarating. It’s Veer’s first experience of falling in love, and his raw, flamboyant nature adds an exciting twist. He feels as though he’s soaring on cloud nine, blissfully caught up in the whirlwind of love, yet he struggles to articulate his feelings. This mix of emotions makes the performance both enjoyable and a bit of an adventure.
How do you enjoy playing Veer? Is there any similarity between you and Veer?
I am really loving the energy of Veer’s character and the way he has been crafted. He’s raw yet kind, clever yet warm-hearted. His personality is not only endearing but also vibrantly strong and flamboyant, offering a delightful mix of traits that opens up a lot of possibilities for experimentation. I’m genuinely enjoying every moment of it!
Veer and Raghav are opposites. Raghav, being calm, peaceful, and more of an introvert, makes the experience feel like I am literally creating a new entity from scratch.
What do you think Veer would do on the occasion of Valentine’s Day?
As I mentioned before, this feeling has come on suddenly and quite unexpectedly for Veer. He might go all out to impress Radhika with his endless charm and chronicles. He may come up with a ‘Desi Date’ to win her over. Honestly, it’s hard to predict what he’ll do next since he’s full of surprises, and there’s so much depth to explore in his character.
Here’s wishing all our readers a Happy Valentine’s Day!!
