Rohit Purohit, who currently plays Armaan Poddar in Star Plus and Rajan Shahi’s popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is winning hearts with his layered performance on screen. But beyond his intense, emotional character, the actor recently opened up about the softer, more heartfelt side of his personal life—his relationship, fatherhood, and what Valentine’s Day truly means to him.
In an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz.com, Rohit shared his wholesome perspective on what makes a relationship successful. “Honesty, trust and companionship are the key to a successful relationship,” he said, adding that emotional transparency forms the core of lasting bonds.
Calling his partner (Sheena Bajaj) his biggest support system, Rohit expressed how comfort and security in their relationship come from the smallest things. “Once I go for my call time and till I come back, everything is taken care of. In my absence, Sheena takes care of everything so that I can completely focus on my work. I am really proud of her for managing everything well.”

Talking about his “perfect day,” Rohit instantly turned into a doting father. “For us, our perfect day is getting up with our baby and his laughter—changing diapers, burping him, playing with him. For me, the best is his bath time, and I love how much he loves to bathe.” For Rohit, parenthood isn’t just a phase—it’s the most fulfilling part of his day. “Just us being with the baby is the perfect day,” he added.
Reflecting on his journey so far, he described his relationship as nothing short of extraordinary. “From meeting her to being friends, to engagement, marriage, and having a kid—it’s a huge roller coaster ride that involves happiness, peace, and prosperity.”
As for Valentine’s Day, while many couples plan romantic getaways, Rohit’s schedule remains packed. “I will be shooting on Valentine’s, so maybe Sheena, the baby, and the family would go for a Valentine’s dinner, and I will miss them. Having our baby is the blissful Valentine,” he shared, proving that love for him is deeply rooted in family and togetherness.
Here’s wishing our readers a Happy Valentine’s Day!
