The viewers of Zee TV’s popular show Lakshmi Niwas are finally witnessing the highly anticipated moment they have been waiting for. After endless episodes of Veer’s relentless pursuit, true love, glaring mistakes, and his ultimate journey of redemption and forgiveness, Veer and Radhika are now getting married. While fans are absolutely thrilled to see the ‘RaVeer’ chemistry culminate in marriage, actor Raghav Tiwari, who portrays the character of Veer, opens up about the bittersweet reality of this union and the massive roadblocks that lie ahead for his character.

For Veer, marrying Radhika is the realisation of a dream, but Raghav reveals that the real battle begins right after the pheras. “For Veer, it is a happy moment, but it is also a huge challenge for him after marriage. Radhikaji has just agreed to this marriage because her family wanted it. The after-marriage phase is going to be incredibly tough for him, and he knows it.”

I am incredibly happy that ‘RaVeer’ is receiving so much love, and the viewers are thoroughly enjoying our chemistry.

He adds, “Radhika has not accepted him as her husband yet; she is still very angry and does not trust him. To add to that, his own family is completely against Radhika. So, Veer has this mammoth task of building a bridge between his family and Radhikaji, while simultaneously winning back her trust. He is in a very complicated zone right now.”

Despite the on-screen tension, Raghav expresses immense excitement about shooting the grand wedding sequence, which brings the massive cast of Lakshmi Niwas together under one roof. “Marriage tracks always bring in a lot of enthusiasm, dance, music, celebration, and high-octane drama. It’s pure fun! As an actor, shooting scenes packed with drama is a complete delight. The wedding track also means the entire cast comes together. We are a big family of about 40 actors, so it is exciting when everyone is present under one roof.”

Reflecting on the hard work that went into creating this RaVeer on-screen couple, Raghav adds, “We have built our characters with a lot of patience and hard work. In reality, I am the exact opposite of Veer, and Radhika is the complete polar opposite of what Akshita is in real life, so we literally had to work from scratch. I am incredibly happy that ‘RaVeer’ is receiving so much love, and the viewers are thoroughly enjoying our chemistry. I am deeply grateful for all the support.”

Beyond the glitz, glamour, and high drama, Raghav believes that Veer and Radhika’s wedding carries a profound message for today’s generation regarding communication in relationships. “I believe that Veer and Radhika’s wedding will send out a very strong message: one should always be open and clear when expressing their feelings to their partner. Do not keep things hidden, as bottling them up can force you to take impulsive decisions.”

Using his own character’s journey as a cautionary tale, Raghav concludes, “Look at Veer, for example—he loved Radhika deeply and helped her and her family a lot. But because he couldn’t talk about his love openly, one single mistake cost him big time. So, if you feel for someone, open up and tell them right away!”
