Ludo, everyone’s once favourite board game brings back fond memories. While much of the world has spent most of the time at home during Covid-19 lockdown, they have been glued to the digital version of it named Ludo King.

Now, the game is turned into a show as well. We explain to you how! Now, people from different areas come together to play the game online and win exciting prizes via Ludo King Show (available on the App and YouTube). This show is hosted by talented TV actor Ankit Bathla and he recently had Vidya Balan as a guest on the show.

Talking about the same Ankit said, “It is a game that we all have played in the lockdown. Now, we have made it more fun wherein the audience can play as well as watch it, have interesting conversations around it. We play an online Ludo game with four contestants who are usually from different fields. People first send their video and later they get selected. Finally, we play the game. I am anchoring it as the game master. Recently, we shot with Vidya Balan who came to promote her movie Sherni. This was the first time we had a big celebrity who appeared on the show. It was fun and there were a lot of anecdotes that were revealed. She told us that she played 28 times the game of Ludo as a marathon. This was because she was losing and she wanted to know how to win it, so she continuously played it. She was very comforting, it was a great experience.”

So how good are you at playing Ludo? Ankit mentions: “I think the worst moment is when you just need ‘the number one’ on the dice to win the game and you don’t get it. Eventually, the other opponent manages to come from far behind and win it. This has happened to me a lot of times. I also like to kill the opponent’s token and that is my favourite part of the game.”
