Actor Nikki Sharma, who plays the role of Shakti in Prateek Sharma’s Zee TV show Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya Shiv Shakti, says that the audiences love the show due to the way the storyline is progressing. She adds that the audience can relate to the storyline.
“I think what the audiences love is the fact that it’s a nice family drama. It’s a nice romantic show and I think people enjoy that there’s also so much drama in it. The fact that Shakti has entered Shiv’s life to help him heal, to protect him from his own aunt, I think that’s what the audience likes and relates to,” she says.
Talking about her character, she says, “I think what people love is that she is very smart and she gives it back to whoever is not behaving right.”
The actress adds that her family also loves the show. “My family does watch the show. They enjoy it, they follow it regularly and they are quite critical also. They tell me if it’s good going, and advise me of ways to get better,” she says.
Shooting the show is equally fun, she says, adding, “So many interesting incidents keep happening to me on the show. But I think, whenever Arjun is shooting with us, we all have very good times on set because he is very funny and he always loves to pull a lot of pranks on people. So, otherwise, you usually see us immersed in scenes because we have very dramatic scenes, but then he comes and starts joking, and in a minute, he can deliver a scene so seriously.”
