Popular television actress Srishti Jain, known for her versatile roles in shows like Suhani Si Ek Ladki, Meri Durga, Main Mayke Chali Jaungi, Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan, Hamari Wali Good News, and Alibaba, has embarked on a new journey with the Colors show Chand Jalne Laga. In a recent interview with IWMBuzz.com, Srishti shared insights into her character, the challenges of entering a show mid-way, and the unique aspects of portraying a de-glam look.

Srishti’s character is set to bring new twists and turns to the storyline. When asked about her excitement for the audience to witness these developments, she said, “My character in the show is strategically introduced by the makers to stir up the plot. It will be interesting to see Priti’s secrets unfold, and I am genuinely excited for the audience to embark on this journey with me.”

Entering a show midway can be challenging, with the established dynamics and connections among the existing cast. However, Srishti stated, ” Entering a show midway indeed poses its own set of challenges, but I have never shied away from a good challenge.”

Srishti’s character in Chand Jalne Laga sports a de-glam look, portraying a widow dressed in all white. Talking about the same, she mentioned, “The character is very simple; she’s a widow and is dressed in all white. I believe that when you play a character that is visually simple, it has a distinct advantage, your craft becomes more visible. When the veil of all the glamour comes off, it’s just the actor and their craft, and I love that aspect of portraying this character.”

The actress also shed light on her camaraderie with co-stars Vishal and Kanika. She said, “Kanika has been a friend even before the show; she is absolutely wonderful. Not only is she a talented actor, but she is also a beautiful human being. I have a lot of love for her. As for Vishal, I have come to know him now, and I appreciate how passionate he is about his craft. He brings a lot of laughter and joy to the set. It’s been a delightful experience working with both of them.”

On an endnote, she added, “In the upcoming episodes, audiences will witness a completely different side of me, and I hope they will appreciate the versatility that I aim to bring to my profile by portraying this character.”
