Actor Ashish Chowdhry is back on television after taking a break of one year and he will be seen in a completely new avatar as Mritunjay Roy (MJ), in ‘Beyhadh 2’ starting 2nd December 9 pm. He will be paired opposite Jennifer Winget.
His character in the show will be of a larger-than-life personality and he will be seen donning salt and pepper look for the daily.
Talking exclusively to IWMBuzz.com, Ashish says, “I have always looked for roles which will overpower the other characters that I have played in my career. Mritunjay Roy is one such character. The genre is also different and the external look of the character also differs. I will give my hundred percent to this character. This is my dream role for many reasons that audience will get to know in the storyline as it moves forward.”
He further adds, “Post my show Dev, I wanted a one year break as I was setting up a production Hindustan Talkies. However, I was getting offers and I am also fortunate enough that in the TV industry I get a chance to choose. I heard about Beyhadh 2’s story. Later, the producer narrated the script. Within one minute I agreed to do the show. Well, Beyhadh is Jennifer and Jennifer is Beyhadh and I am here to support her with her brand.”
