Actor Angad Hasija has made a powerful entry into Zee TV’s Tumm Se Tumm Tak, produced by Studio LSD, as Yash Vardhan, a character whose arrival is set to bring major revelations and emotional upheavals to the storyline. Joining the show as a parallel lead, Angad’s character introduces a fresh layer of mystery and drama. Yash Vardhan is Gayatri’s estranged son and the younger brother of Rajnandini, Aryavardhan’s late first wife. His return to the family after years of separation opens the door to hidden truths and unresolved emotional conflicts.

Opening up about his character, Angad Hasija says, “Yash Vardhan is not someone who follows a straightforward emotional journey. He is constantly questioning why he feels such a strong connection to people he has been away from for years. That internal conflict makes him incredibly fascinating to portray. Interestingly, certain shades in Yash remind me of Alekh Rajvansh, a character that remains very close to my heart from Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai.”

One of the defining aspects of Yash’s track is his deep emotional and spiritual bond with his mother, Gayatri, played by veteran actress Vandana Pathak. Despite years of estrangement, Yash finds himself drawn back toward his family, unable to ignore what feels like a higher calling. Talking about this unique dynamic, the actor shares, “The relationship between Yash and his mother is extremely emotional. Even though they have lived apart for years, there is a connection that goes beyond words. He feels an unexplainable pull towards her, and that becomes the driving force behind many of his decisions.”

The role also marks Angad’s return to Hindi fiction daily soaps after a year-long hiatus. To bring Yash Vardhan to life, the actor has undergone a noticeable transformation, trading his familiar clean-cut image for a rugged appearance featuring curly hair and a more mysterious aura. Speaking about the transformation, Angad says, “Yash’s look reflects everything he has experienced in life. His appearance carries a sense of mystery and depth, which aligns perfectly with the emotional layers of the character.”

As Tumm Se Tumm Tak moves into a crucial phase, Yash Vardhan’s arrival is expected to trigger significant developments within the family and reveal long-buried secrets. “Viewers will see a character who is searching for answers, identity, and belonging. Every step Yash takes uncovers a new emotional truth, and I believe audiences will connect with that journey,” concludes Angad.
