Actor Kanwar Dhillon, seen in Star Plus and Rahul Tewary’s Udne Ki Aasha, describes 2025 as one of the most fulfilling years of his life, both on a personal and professional front. Reflecting on the year gone by, the actor shares that it has been marked by achievements, hard work, and moments of deep gratitude.
Calling it a remarkable year, he says, “2025 has been the most satisfying year for me. It has been personally and professionally rewarding. From wins and accolades to personal milestones like buying my own house and ticking off important goals from my to-do list, everything has felt extremely special. It has truly been a satisfying year, and I hope the coming year is equally fulfilling.”
The actor believes that the love and support from his audience have played a big role in motivating him. “The wishes and appreciation I received from my audience made a very positive impact on my life. The love I have received for my work, both professionally and personally, has been extremely satisfying. It has only pushed me to work harder and earn more love, respect, and recognition. Everyone who reached out to appreciate my work has left a lasting impact on me,” he shares.
One of the biggest highlights of the year for Kanwar has been purchasing his own house. “Signing the agreement for my own house has been a major accomplishment this year. Along with that, building a family house together with my parents has made this year even more special and something I will always be grateful for,” he says.
Professionally, the year has been demanding, especially with the shooting schedule of Udne Ki Aasha. Speaking about it, Kanwar explains, “It has been a tough year in terms of shoots. Delivering one hour of content every day kept me completely occupied. There were a lot of compromises when it came to my personal life, hobbies, and activities. In the coming year, I hope to strike a better balance and make time for myself.”
Health and fitness also took a temporary backseat due to work and injury. “I had to ditch my gym for the last four months. It was not planned, but my injury and hectic routine made it unavoidable. I plan to get back aggressively in the coming year,” he adds.
Looking ahead, Kanwar shares that spending time with family is a top priority. “One of my main goals for the new year is to work harder and also spend quality time in my new house. In the first month of the year, I will be moving in with my family. I am really looking forward to creating memories and soaking everything in, as everything happened so quickly alongside shooting that I did not get time to fully absorb it,” he says.
The actor also hopes to work on a personal fear in the coming year. “One skill I really want to acquire is deep water swimming. I am a basic swimmer, but I have a bit of deep-water phobia. I would like to overcome that with proper coaching,” he reveals.
Sharing his hopes for the new year, Kanwar concludes, “I would love the new year to bring me more money, love, success, and equal or even more personal and professional satisfaction. I want the momentum to keep going. My resolution is to work harder, aim higher, keep entertaining my audience, and ensure that my personal activities and hobbies do not take a backseat.”
