Radhika Chhabra who has been a model and actor is happy to be part of the huge show and banner Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the longest-running GEC show on Indian TV.
Radhika plays the role of Liza, friend of Tina aka Naira (Shivangi Joshi).
Radhika who is a Punjabi actress has taken part in the Ludhiana Fashion Week and has also appeared in many episodic series. She was seen in Band Baja Bandh Darwaza on SAB TV. Radhika has featured in the Punjabi movie Best Friends.
She had taken part in Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan when she was quite young in age. The show used to beam on Imagine TV.
Radhika is happy to face the limelight with her role of Liza in the hugely watched show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Says Radhika, “This has to be my big break on Hindi TV. I am enjoying playing the role.”
Shivangi and Radhika have in quick time become good friends on the set. “My relationship with Shivangi is very much like how Liza and Tina are on screen. We enjoy each other’s company.”
Radhika is grateful to have got a good role in the show. “Liza has a very good rapport with Naira aka Tina and her son Kairav. At the same time, she has a complicated relationship going on with Akhilesh Chachu (Ali Hasan). She does not know however, that Akhilesh is from the Goenka family.”
Ask her on what she likes most about the role and she states, “The role is layered and it is interesting to play it.”
Radhika is open to good work and wants to be noticed as a good actor playing challenging roles.
