Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai the popular Star Plus show produced by Director’s Kut will see the very important entry of actress Payal Nair.
Payal will play the role of Advocate Damini Mishra, who is very renowned and has not lost even a single case.
As we know, the story track in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will now proceed towards the custody battle of Kairav (Tanmay Rishi). Both Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira (Shivangi Joshi) will fight for the right of the child.
Though Naira’s ulterior motive in fighting for Kairav’s custody will be to move away from Kartik, Kartik will be unaware of it.
At this juncture will enter Damini Mishra in Kartik’s life.
We talked to Payal Nair who described her character like this.
“Damini has never lost a case in her entire career. She is very strong, and is a person who is on the face in her behavior. The lady will have her own set of rules to tell her clients. She will want them only to answer to her questions and not question her much. She will tell Kartik that just like the custody of his child is important for him, the case and its outcome is very important for her. She will tell Kartik not to interfere in the proceedings and leave it to her. She will tell Kartik not to hide anything from her. Damini is very shrewd and professional. She has also done her homework with respect to Kartik and Naira’s backgrounds and story. So she knows everything about them even before she meets Kartik,” states Payal.
“In simple words, Damini will tell Kartik not to bother about the proceedings in court and only pay attention to the judgement,” she explains.
So considering that Damini has not lost a single case, does it mean that Naira has already lost her battle before it started?
