Star Plus’ new show Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey produced by Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment will see Yesha Rughani and Manan Joshi playing the leads.

Recently, Yesha and Manan shot in the exotic locales of Lucknow for the show’s outdoor shoot.

The team shot sequences at very important places of sightseeing in Lucknow like Purana Lucknow, Roomi Gate, Clock Tower, Pakka Pul, Hazratganj Market etc.

In a candid chat, Yesha and Manan shared their anecdotes about the shooting at these places.

Says Yesha, “I do not know a lot about the city but, what I do know for sure is that it is truly the city of the King’s and the Nawab’s as they put it. It is extremely beautiful. It almost felt like I was on the streets of London, given the horse carts and the clock tower in the city. It was very clean and the people are lovely. I’d love to come back here sometime and I’m thrilled that our show’s concept is based out of Lucknow. Luckily, I did have a day or two off from work so I got the chance to visit and explore quite a few tourist spots within the city. I went to the Clock Tower, the parks, the Riverfront, Rumi Gate and also the Bhool Bhulaiya. I also managed to do a lot of shopping during my stay at Lucknow.”

“We shot at Rumi Gate. Remembering an exciting incident, we were crossing a bridge and I was in a convertible car where I played some loud music, went out of the sun roof and roaming all over the city as I own it and that’s one memory I can never get out of my head,” adds Yesha

Manan Joshi said, “Honestly, the city being cold at night was my most favourite part about Lucknow. But in all seriousness, I loved the welcoming vibe of the city. The architecture is also something I highly admire. I loved how it was all made and how it has survived the test of time. And last but not the least; the food, the people, their wide roads of course. We shot at a couple of locations. There was this one scene where we were shooting and we were supposed to have Pani Puri. It was our first shot, that we shot for the whole day which led to people enjoying eating Pani Puri’s for the entire day! The Lucknowi’s call it ‘Pani Bataashe’ so we ate plenty of Pani Bataashe’s in every shot and there was a lot of fun banter around it. And another anecdote that I have is from when I had an off on the last day, I’d slept all evening, hired a rickshaw who took me all around Lucknow where I got the chance to shop, visit Hazratganj and walk by the river front. By the time we were done, it was pretty late at night. The rickshaw driver had originally asked for 50 bucks but since it was Diwali night, I presented him with some extra money and he had the sweetest smile on his face. The whole experience of not being in a car or an Ola taxi but, being in an electric rickshaw with this humble guy is one memory I’ll always and forever cherish.”
