For actor Ssudeep Sahir, who was last seen in Parineetii, career satisfaction is a balance of creative freedom, financial stability, and building a lasting legacy.
He shared, “It’s a mix of all those things. You need the creative freedom to choose projects that truly speak to you, and the financial stability that comes with it allows you to take creative risks. And of course, you want to build a body of work you are proud of, that’s the legacy. They all feed into each other.”
From his experience, he understands that the entertainment industry comes with rejection and unpredictability. He said, “I have a pretty straightforward philosophy on this. This career path isn’t for the faint-hearted; rejection is part of the deal.”
“I’ve never really seen a failure as a blessing in disguise because I don’t dwell on them. If something doesn’t work out, I move ahead quickly. I truly believe it’s their loss, not mine. That mindset has kept me moving forward,” he added.
Asked for a tip that he would share with a newcomer, and he said, “I’d tell them two things. First, you have to have unshakable faith in yourself.”
“Second, and this is crucial, you must accept that failure is not the opposite of success; it’s a part of it. Don’t let a no define your worth or your path. Keep your head down, work on your craft, and keep going,” Ssudeep concluded.
