Young actor Avinn Tyagi, who has featured in the popular show Yeh Hai Chahatein, is excited about the scope for learning he has got in his new Sony SAB show, Hui Gumm Yaadein, produced by Sobo Productions. Avinn is extremely excited to work alongside senior actors like Iqbal Khan, Gulki Joshi and Srishti Singh.
Avinn, who plays the role of Dr Abeer Chabaria, in the parallel lead’s role, holds Iqbal Khan in high esteem and is in awe of the senior actor’s preparation and commitment to his role.
Says Avinn about his onscreen rapport with Iqbal in the show, “Dr Dev and Dr Abeer differ in their ideologies related to work. So there’s nothing much in common about the equation I share with him onscreen.”
Talking about the offscreen rapport with Iqbal Khan, Avinn cannot stop his excitement, as he feels it is a dream come true moment to work with him. “I have grown up seeing Iqbal Sir’s shows. My mother is a huge fan of Iqbal Sir. When my family got to know that I am getting this big an opportunity to share screen with him, they were elated. The fan moment remains in my heart every time I see him.”
Avinn stresses the fact that Iqbal is so grounded and easy-going, making everyone comfortable on sets. “You cannot make out from any angle that he carries the huge experience of being a popular actor. You spend 10 minutes with him, and he will make you quite comfortable, as though he has known you for a long time. He is like a big brother to me. I can seek his help at any time.”
Iqbal pulls off special surprises for his cast and crew on set. Avinn tells us about one happy moment, saying, “Iqbal Sir gifted us mugs with his picture. He goes out of his way and brings cakes and other yummy delicacies to the sets. I enjoy working with him. I have earlier heard about Dhoni Sir, and how his doors are always open to help others. Similarly, Iqbal Sir’s doors are always open for everyone, and anyone can seek help and benefit from his advice.”
