Colors TV’s Naagin 7, produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, returns with the franchise’s signature mix of fantasy, drama, and high-octane emotions wrapped in patriotism, as it heart like in the previous season Naagin 6 but with distinct narrative which is relatable to all that happened in 2025 from Mahakumbh, intruders entry, to the danger swirling on the nation. And to save the nation from the enemies, this time Nagrani Ananta is chosen by destiny.
But the question arises, what’s new this time? Well, it’s not the narrative but the reliability and unexpected twists that elevate curiosity and drama. Forget about knowing her enemies, the Naagin in this season is not even aware of her real identity, the bigger motive she has been chosen for, and her powers. The episode keeps the viewers hooked till the end and satisfies them. Sidhartha Vankar is the creative director.
Digging deep into the plot, it begins with renowned scientist Tushar Sinha, played by Karan Kundrra, reuniting saints, aghoris, and all the biggies at the Kumbh Mela in 2001 to acknowledge the danger to the nation that will arise in 2025. At the same time, enemies enter the nation, beginning their game of destruction. Karan, as the scientist, does his part well, narrating the tale in a gripping note.

Tension peaks with Tejasswi Prakash reprising her role as Shesh Naagin, who fights the odds and dies after giving birth to the heiress of Anant Kul, Nagrani Ananta, and handing her over to a common couple. Tejasswi, like in season 6, owns the screen with her fiery presence.
What comes as a surprise is the storyline 24 years later, introducing Eisha Singh as Ananta (making one wonder if she is the Naagin) – she is bold, beautiful, fiery, and the most protective sister.
Getting on to Purvi played by Priyanka Chahar Choudhary as the younger sister of Ananta. She is simple, timid, and innocent, unaware of her powers, and her bunny toothpick adds a fresh touch. The actress nails her performance, balancing both her looks.
Namik Paul is a sight to behold as the renowned journalist Aryaman. His dashing personality in real life takes the centre stage in the show, and he is good inside and out.

Amidst all the good things, unexpected twists arrive with Ashish Kaul, the leading villain, creating tension. His performance as the main villain has gotten him into the spotlight.
At the same time, Alice Kaushik does her part well as Naagin, protecting her Nagrani Ananta. At the same time, Beena Banerjee, as the older Naagin, adds depth to the plot.
Other cast members, including Nibeditaa Paal, Shamik Abbas, Puneet Tejwani, Pyumori Mehta, etc, bring in drama and suspense to the table.
With the initial episodes, Naagin 7 has teased fans with dramatic action sequences. It will be even more interesting to see how the leading Naagin, Ananta, comes into action.
Overall, Naagin 7’s plot is predictable, with a patriotic angle, while the reliability connects with viewers. The strong performances and emotional notes make it a watchable edition to the Naagin franchise.
