Sony SAB has been adding colors and laughter to audiences’ lives with different shows. After Wagle Ki Duniya, they have recently launched Jijaji Chhat Par Koi Hai. The show is the second season of the Jijaji Chhat Per Hain. The series this time offers spooky drama along with humour.

About the show:

Jijaji Chhat Parr Koii Hai promises a classic tale of an age-old family feud between the Jaldirams and Jindals over their claims on the ancestral property. While the property feud stirs the rivalry between the families, there is a mystery that walks the halls of this pushtaini haveli. Adding to the hilarious conflict is the constant conflict between Jaldiram and Jindal over the shared space their businesses occupy – a restaurant and a garage.

Jijaji Chhat Parr Koii Hai has the stunning Hiba Nawab as Jaldiram’s beloved daughter CP (short for Connaught Place), who is seen alongside the dashing Shubhashish Jha who is seen as Jitendra Jamwant Jindal aka Jijaji. Anup Upadhyay is seen as Jaldiram, the proud owner of Jaldiram Sweets, bubbly yet cheeky Soma Rathod is seen as Jaldiram’s devoted wife Sofia. The cast also has Jeetu Shivhare as Nanhe, Jijaji’s father, Sucheta Khanna as Bijlidevi aka Jijaji’s mother and Vipin Herro as Gulzar, Nanhe as Bijlidevi’s adopted son among others.

Good points:

The show has some great laughter moments which make you forget all your worries and bring a smile to your face. Hiba Nawab is seen in a double role and that is the USP of this show. She is doing a fine job in both her characters in the show. Her character name is Connaught Place which creates curiosity amongst the audiences. This time we have a new Jijaji aka Shubhashish Jha and this brings freshness to the show. Although, we surely miss our old Jijaji aka Nikhil Khurana. The casting of Jijaji Chhat Per Hain is apt with the talented bunch of actors bringing something new to the table.

Bad points:

The show will have to buck up to match the level of the first season. Subhashish will also have to make a mark as a new Jijaji or his character will get lost between the already established cast. The scary element of the show is not eerie which is a tad boring for the audiences. Having said that, the humour and horror element, if pulled off well in the screenplay, will do well for the show.

Overall it’s a decent show but can do better. IWMBuzz.com credits Jijaji Chhat Parr Koii Hai 2.5 out of 5 stars.
