Review of Sony TV’s Sargam Ki Sadhe Satii: A family entertainer which makes you laugh

IWMBuzz.com reviews Sony TV’s Sargam Ki Sadhe Satii

Sony Entertainment Television has always been a frontrunner in telling innovative and experimental stories and the newly launched show Sargam Ki Sadhe Satii is yet another example. Produced by Vipul Shah of Optimystix Entertainment, Sargam Ki Sadhe Satii brings forth the Awasthi household with Sargam as the bahu, and her unique sasural where she is the only woman among seven and half men.

About the show:

Awasthi’s from Ghaziabad throws viewers into giggle-fits, while also warming the hearts with relatable situations. In the show, Sargam has a special connection with the number sadhe sat and her life always revolves around this number, so much so that she is married in a madhouse with seven and a half men. Each of the men in the Awasthi family holds up a distinctive personality, which levitates even the most ordinary family life into witty situations. The makers have chosen an eclectic cast, led by Mere Dad Ki Dulhan actor Anjali Tatrari as Sargam and Kunal Saluja as Aparshakti Awasthi. The rest of the key cast members include names such as Darshan Jariwala, Sanat Vyas, Ojas Rawal, Yash Sehgal, Vishnu Bholwani, Akash Makhija, Yash Sehgal and Krish Chugh.

Good points:

The show has begun on a good note. All the characters were introduced in the first episode which brought a connectivity factor with the audience. Talented actors gave amazing performances while staying true to their parts, eliciting laughter with their antics. The show has the required ingredients to make a mark.

Overall, it is a decent watch. It gives a ‘feel good’ vibe. We hope that Sargam Ki Sadhe Satii continues to capture audience’s attention in the near future too. All said and done, if you want a few good laughs this is the show for you.

IWMBuzz.com credits the show 3 out of 5 stars.
