IWMBuzz.com reviews Star Plus’ new show Rudrakaal

Star Plus latest finite thriller Rudrakaal produced by Dashmi Productions has been captivating the audience’s attention. Viewers will witness the story of an honest IPS officer, DCP Ranjan Chittoda who is brought in to investigate the murder of his former mentor who then would later stumble upon a conspiracy with the chaos that would entail.

The new crime investigative thriller drama series features Bhanu Uday Goswami (DCP Ranjan Chittoda) and Dipannita Sharma (DCP’s wife and Anshuman’s mother) alongside Rudhraksh Jaiswal in lead roles. The show also includes an ensemble cast of Harsh Joshi, Swanand Kirkire, Shruti Marathe, Kishor Kadam, Suraj Singh, Flora Saini, Bijay Anand, among others in pivotal roles.

The show is a complete visual treat and looks thrilling with the breath-taking visuals, the magnificent weaponry, and the amazing performers. These factors make for a complete package. The show is more extravagant and bombastic than any thriller. Car chases, vicious and brutal hand-to-hand brawls, and larger-than-life personalities make for a very lively, entertaining drama.

Rudrakaal is made with a lot of intelligence, passion, and with an intent to do justice to the story. The idea and its execution weave magic on screen. The first episode had us on the edge of the seat with its sheer energy and raw, emotional appeal. Bhanu’s performance in the first episode was spine chilling. What further impressed us is the look and feel of the visuals- spectacular, magnificent, and unlike anything seen on TV before. The show is a visual delight and it will get good word of mouth for the way the story is being handled.

We at IWMBuzz.com credit Rudrakaal with 4 out of 5 stars.
