The upcoming supernatural fantasy saga Apsara is set to premiere on Star Plus, taking viewers into a world where ancient legends collide with modern-day power struggles. Crafted by producer Mukta Dhond, who previously captivated audiences with the iconic supernatural hit Divya Drishti, this new show carries forward a familiar structural backbone: the clash between good and evil represented through the intricate dynamic of two sisters.

Blessed with the radiant grace of the celestial Apsaras, Sunehri, played by Samiksha Jaiswal, embodies purity, light, and protection. Raised with compassion, she possesses the power to manipulate light, heal, and guard divine truths.

Emerging from the darker, chaotic forces born of the ocean’s churning, Dhara, played by Anushka Merchande, is driven by passion and ambition. Her control over dark elements and illusions makes her a formidable force who believes power is meant to be claimed, not shared.

Echoing the core dynamic seen in Divya Drishti, Sunehri and Dhara are bound by blood yet pulled apart by destiny. Unaware of their deep connection during their early lives, their paths cross when an ancient relic from the Samudra Manthan re-emerges, threatening to unleash chaos if claimed by dark forces.

The show is said to premiere on Star Plus at the 10.30 PM slot from 21 October.
