Shivangi Joshi, the popular Indian TV actress, has become the center of conversation right now. Amid the controversy surrounding Harshad Chopda giving up his finalist spot to save Shivangi in Lock Upp season 2, actress Aanchal Khurana has made explosive claims about the former.
In her statement, Aanchal recalled Shivangi warning her to stay away from her boyfriend during a past incident and even stated that the actress’s behavior off-screen is different from what appears on-screen.
Aanchal, on August 4, 2026, shared a video of her personal experience with Shivangi years back that left a lasting impression. The actress recalled an incident from the past and alleged that during a TV show, Shivangi once accused her of getting close to her then-boyfriend.
Aanchal shared that a few years back she was doing a show, and Shivangi’s private boyfriend came to the show, after which Shivangi sent a long text to her asking her and her friend to stay away from her boyfriend.
Aanchal also shared that Shivangi accused her of hitting on her boyfriend. But she claimed that Shivangi’s then-boyfriend was not being true to her.
Aanchal then added that she knew she would face backlash for speaking up, especially from Shivangi’s fans.
Reacting to Shivangi’s stint in Lock Upp season 2, Aanchal alleged that the actress is different in real life than what she appears, calling her behavior an act, and claimed that she couldn’t hide her truth in the show when it came to Harshad.
Aanchal concluded the note by praising Harshad Chopda and sharing that when she speaks the truth, people say she is doing it to gain fame so she can get a chance to go to Bigg Boss. But she is taught to tell the truth.
After this, fans speculated that the boyfriend was Kushal Tandon, but Aanchal clarified it was not him.
