Senior versatile actor Amarr Upadhyay who was recently busy with films Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Bob Biswas will get back to the TV screens with a bang!!

Amarr Upadhyay is in all probability playing the lead in Balaji Telefilms’ upcoming show for Colors.

The show with a Haryanvi backdrop is about a man who is in the 40’s marrying a relatively younger girl.

There was news of actor Iqbal Khan being approached for the lead role.

As per a reliable source, “Iqbal and Amarr were in contention for the role. However, it now seems like Amarr Upadhyay is likely to bag it.”

We buzzed Amarr but could not get through for comments.

We reached out to the channel spokesperson but did not get revert.

As we know, Amarr Upadhyay was the original Mihir Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and stole limelight with the role. He has done noteworthy TV shows Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand, Kkusum, Sapna Baul Ka Bidaai, Ek Deewaana Tha, Roop – Mard Ka Naya Swaroop, Saath Nibhana Saathiya etc.
