Actor Maniesh Paul on July 20 shared a post saying ‘Delhi won’t be the same again’ amid the ongoing protest at Jantar Mantar. His remark drew attention, but it has nothing to do with the protest, as he penned this heartfelt note for his beloved mother days after she passed away.
The renowned actor shared a bunch of photos from the special meet remembering his late mother Urmil Paul. Maniesh’s mother passed away on July 8, 2026, in New Delhi at the age of 77.
In one of the photos shared, Maniesh, expressing his gratitude for the support and messages wrote, “Thank you, everyone, for being with me and my family during this difficult time. Grateful for all the messages, phone calls, and DMs.”
He further shared his future goal to honor his mother’s legacy by returning to his creative roots said, “My mother always wanted me to be the best entertainer ever So lemme get back to what she wanted Entertain you all. Bring smiles on everyone’s face. Love you all Manieşh Paul.”
The other photos give a glimpse into the special ceremony remembering Urmil Paul —from Maniesh and his wife praying to Urmil’s husband/Maniesh’s father, Jagmohan Paul, getting emotional—every frame looks deeply emotional.
Sharing these photos, Maniesh captioned the post, “Delhi won’t be the same ever again
