Speaking on the reason behind the show’s shutdown, she called internal politics in the channel the major reason. She shared that they planned to shut it down slowly over two to three years. She said that by constantly changing the time slot and days, the channel wiped the show’s image from the audience’s mind.

She backed long-standing claims by co-star Dayanand Shetty, saying the network leadership did not appreciate producer B.P. Singh running the show entirely on his own terms.
