TV actress Alisha Parveen, who became a household name with her role as Raahi from the Star Plus show Anupamaa, produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut Productions, has now bagged a new opportunity. As per the reports, the actress who appeared as the protagonist (female lead) in Anupama will now be seen in an antagonist (negative lead) role in Colors TV’s new show Tu Juliet Jatt Di.
Alisha’s sudden exit from Anupama created a lot of buzz on the internet; however, no exact reason was ever revealed. However, in a short span, the actress, with her on-screen presence as Raahi, won hearts and fans wished to see her again. Now, finally, she will be back on-screen with a new character, which builds anticipation about what she will bring to the table this time.
In contrast, Alisha was seen in the drama series School Friends 2 after she was removed from Anupama. Later, she also appeared in micro-dramas like Phir Se Restart and the short film Emergency Room. Besides that, she has also been part of shows like Muskurane Ki Wajah Tum Ho, Udaariyaan, and others.
Tu Juliet Jatt Di is a new Colors TV show produced by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s Dreamiyata Entertainment. The show stars Sayed Raza Ahmed and Jaspreet Kaur. The show is all set to launch today, November 17.
