Talented and good looking actor Arushi Mehta who has been missing from action for a while will soon get hitched to her long-time advocate boyfriend Pargat Singh.
“Yes, coming from different communities, we will first have a court marriage on 30 April, followed by a reception attended by close friends and family. I never support nor can afford a big fat marriage, better to ring in my new innings with the ones who care,” confided the bride-to-be, Arushi.
“There will be some rituals on both sides conducted in private” adds the actress.
Arushi’s well-known shows have been Kahani Hamare Tumhare Mahabharat Ki and Aj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai.
For the moment, Arushi has no immediate plans to take off a honeymoon, “For I have my hands full with my business plans (opening a café and an outlet in Gold cinema). So both Pargat and I are busy with that.”
“Although Pargat is not from our frat, his family is, so technically, he is one of us. I have no restrictions on what to do or not. We always discuss, but the final call still has to be mine.”
Arushi also has a spotless media record.
“I have always been a simple girl who believes in long term commitments. Flings and friends with benefits are not me. No comment on others who indulge in it, to each his/her own.”
Any chances of you getting back to work post marriage? “If something juicy comes along, I will grab it. There were two reasons for my long hiatus, A I was not getting my type of role (not cut out for bold) and B, I always wanted to take a breather to plan my above entrepreneurship.”
