In a never-seen-before avatar, Ashnoor Kaur has donned a saree for the very first time — and it’s nothing short of powerful. Shot in a bold black saree for celebrated photographer Amit Khanna’s much-anticipated annual calendar, Ashnoor’s transformation marks a significant visual and emotional milestone in her journey.

Known for his out-of-the-box conceptual photography and cinematic storytelling, Amit Khanna has ruled the celebrity photography space for over a decade. A director as well, Khanna’s yearly calendar has become one of the most awaited creative showcases in the industry — setting trends, breaking stereotypes, and pushing artistic boundaries. Each edition is known for its strong narratives and unforgettable imagery, making it a true collector’s delight.

This year, Amit Khanna joins hands with renowned entrepreneur and pageant consultant Pankaj Kharbanda to present RUBARU 2026, the Glar-Iconic Calendar — an evocative visual tribute to Indian women across identities, journeys, and phases of life. The calendar celebrates strength, individuality, and the many shades of empowerment, portrayed through compelling concepts and diverse faces.

Ashnoor’s shoot, in particular, stands out as one of the most talked-about moments of the calendar. Her concept portrays quiet rebellion and inner strength — a young woman standing firm against the world, unshaken by the noise around her.

Speaking about the experience, Ashnoor shared, “This is my first photoshoot in a saree. So I was, anyway, very excited, and the pictures turned out great. My concept was about a young girl standing against a crowd, standing against the world in general, she holds her ground”.

RUBARU 2026 features an eclectic mix of celebrated personalities, each bringing their own lived story, presence, and perspective to the frame. The lineup includes Shweta Tiwari, Jaya Bhattacharya, Gulki Joshi, Divya Agarwal, Akanksha Puri, Aneri Vajani, Jamie Lever, Ashnoor Kaur, Tinaa Dattaa, Rohit Verma, Rrahul Sudhir, Komica Anchal, Diandra Soares, Virraaj Babar, Nipun Singh, and Svara Mandlik.

The calendar is slated to launch on the 21st of January, 2026. We can’t wait to see the magic.
