SAB TV is all set to roll out comedy show ‘Partners’ which will see comedy king Johnny Lever’s acting debut on the small screen.
The show by Paritosh Painter will see him donning the avatar of a police commissioner. The daily will also feature actor-comedian Kiku Sharda as a cop. And Kishwer Merchantt, Shweta Gulati and Ashwini Kalsekar are also part of the project.
Now, we hear veteran actor Asrani (known for his roles in Sholay, Malamaal Weekly, Dhamaal, Bol Bachchan) and handsome hunk Vipul Roy (Saheb Biwi Aur Boss) have been roped in for the show.
As per a reliable source, “Asrani will be play a chief police and his comedy sequences with Johnny Lever will tickle audiences’ bones. Vipul will also have an important part to play in the series.
Asrani and Vipul remained unavailable for comment.
