The year 2026 promises its own share of ups and downs in the world of TV shows. There has been stiff competition at the top, with many shows experiencing an upward swing in ratings. The BARC India Ratings released today, 19 February 2026, of Week 6 look like this!! We have all three shows that have been eyeing for the No 1 spot come together to have the same TVR and take the No 1 spot. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (Star Plus), Anupamaa (Star Plus) and Naagin 7 (Colors TV) have a joint TVR of 2.0. Anupamaa and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi see a drop this week when compared to last week, while Naagin 7 shows a rise.
Zee TV shows Vasudha, Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan and Tumm Se Tumm Tak, all three being Zee TV shows, are again inseparable and secure a joint TVR of 1.9. Udne Ki Aasha (Star Plus) gets a TVR of 1.7. Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment (Colors TV) gets a TVR of 1.7. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus) gets a TVR of 1.6. New show Mr & Mrs Parshuram (Star Plus) gets a TVR of 1.5. Lakshmi Niwas the Zee TV show, sees a rise and gets a TVR of 1.5. Jagadhatri (Zee TV) sees a slight drop and gets a TVR of 1.4. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Sony SAB) drops further to get a TVR of 1.4.
Colors TV’s shows Manant Har Khushi Paane Ki and Dr Aarambhi see a drop and get a TVR of 1.3. Star Plus’ Aarti Anjali Awasthi gets a TVR of 1.2. Colors TV shows Mahadev & Sons and Tu Juliet Jatt Di see a slight drop and get a TVR of 1.2. Colors TV’s Seher Hone Ko Hai is at 1.1 TVR. Colors TV shows Mangal Lakshmi and Mangal Lakshmi – Lakshmi Ka Safar see a further drop and get a TVR of 1.1.
Star Plus’ Jhanak and Zee TV’s Saru get a TVR of 1.0. Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol gets a TVR of 0.8, while Colors TV’s The 50 manages a TVR of 0.7. Wheel of Fortune on Sony Entertainment Television gets a TVR of 0.6.
Overall, the impact of the cricketing season has started to fall on the television shows. Many shows across all channels have seen a drop owing to the tough competition with the bat and the ball. Anupamaa and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi also see a drop this week. Zee TV’s shows Vasudha, Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan and Tumm Se Tumm Tak have held their ground pretty well. Lakshmi Niwas has shown good growth under stiff competition, while there is a drop in ratings of Dr Aarambhi and Aarti Anjali Awasthi. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Mangal Lakshmi have seen a drastic drop in ratings owing to the competition coming from Tumm Se Tumm Tak and Mr & Mrs Parshuram. Vasudha stands tall amid competition coming from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Mahadev & Sons. Reality shows Indian Idol, Wheel of Fortune and The 50 fare averagely. Star Plus shows Tod Ka Dil Mera, Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi, Shehzaadi Hai Tu Dil Ki are in trouble. Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile sees a drastic drop.
