And it’s a wrap for 2025! The year was full of ups and downs for the television shows in terms of TRP ratings. And the ratings for the last week (week 51) are here (released today, 2 January 2026). Towards the end of the year, the iconic Star Plus show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi topped the chart, securing higher numbers than the previous week with 2.2 TVR. Star Plus’s Anupamaa takes the second spot on the list, with a slight rise to 2.1 TVR.
Taking the third spot, jointly, are Udne Ki Aasha – Sapno Ka Safar (Star Plus) and Tumm Se Tumm Tak (Zee TV), with a TVR of 1.8. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus) sees a rise, securing its place in the fifth spot with a slight rise from 1.7 to 1.8 TVR this week. Also, Udne Ki Aasha (Star Plus) and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Sony SAB) join Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus), both securing 1.8 TVR.
Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan (Zee TV) and Vasudha (Zee TV) witness a big drop from 1.9 TVR last week to getting 1.7 TVR this week. Next is the comedy cooking show Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment Season 3 (Colors TV), which maintains momentum, securing 1.6 TVR.
While shows like Aarti Anjali Awasthi (Star Plus) and Jagadhatri (See TV) TVR 1.4, alongside Mannat – Har Khushi Paane Ki (Colors TV), which sees a rise this week. Tu Juliet Jatt Di (Colors TV) and Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyaag Tandav secure 1.3 TVR. And shows like Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, Mangal Lakshmi, Mangal Lakshmi – Lakshmi Ka Safar, and Jhanak get a TVR of 1.2.
Indian Idol (Sony TV) and Shehzadi Hai Tu Dil Ki (Star Plus) deliver 1.1 TVR, while Saru (Zee TV), Bindi – Dil Se Daring (Colors TV), and Itti Si Khusi (Sony SAB) deliver 1.0 TVR.
Conclusion: The last week of 2025 saw a rise in ratings for a few shows, but many shows still need to do better. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Anupama continue their battle for 1st spot while Tumm Se Tumm Tak, Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, Vasudha, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment Season 3, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Udne Ki Aasha, Udne Ki Aasha – Sapno Ka Safar and others are doing well while Seher Hone Ko Hai, Itti Si Khushi, Bindii, Binddii- Dil Se Daring, Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nhi, Jhanak, Mangal Lakshmi, Mangal Lakshmi- Lakshmi Ka Safar need to improve.
