The biggest shakeups in the world of television ratings for 2025 have begun. The BARC India Ratings released today, Week 42 of 2025, 30 October 2025, give us just that!! Anupamaa (Star Plus) sees a drop in its TVR this week and secures a TVR of 2.1. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (Star Plus), which has been behind Anupamaa closely for the last few weeks, catches up with Anupamaa to share the top honours with a TVR of 2.1. Udne Ki Aasha (Star Plus), which airs in a one-hour slot, has a TVR of 1.9 and 1.6. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus) sees a drop with a TVR of 1.7.

Tumm Se Tumm Tak (Zee TV) has a TVR of 1.6. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Sony SAB), Bigg Boss (Colors TV), Vasudha (Zee TV), Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan (Zee TV) and Dhamal with Pati Patni aur Panga (Colors TV) secure a TVR of 1.4.

Mangal Lakshmi (Colors TV) is the next with a TVR of 1.3, followed by Mangal Lakshmi – Lakshmi Ka Safar (Colors TV) and Aarti Anjali Awasthi (Star Plus), which get a joint TVR of 1.2. Zee TV show Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile and Colors TV show Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyaag Tandav get a TVR of 1.1. The event Zee Rishton Ka Mela – Apnotsav gets a TVR of 1.0. Star Plus show Jhanak and Colors TV show Binddii have a TVR of 1.0.

Shows Dhaakad Beera (Colors TV), Itti Si Khushi (Sony SAB), Jagriti Ek Nayi Subah (Ze TV) and Manpasand Ki Shaadi (Colors TV) get a TVR of 0.9. Indian Idol (Sony Entertainment Television) opens with a TVR of 0.8.

To sum it up, the aftermath of the long festive season of Diwali brought about a dip in the ratings of most of the TV shows this week. Shows need to show a rise in ratings in the coming week to stay in the big race.
