Defending him amid the speculation and controversy, Aasif’s wife, Zeba, issued a statement rejecting the claims, clarifying that their relationship is secure and strong, and that they don’t need to justify it, captioning the post, “Bas, bahut hua.”
Zeba wrote on her Instagram, “As Aasif’s wife, I think it is important to say this once, from my heart and with complete clarity.
