Ekam Bawa, a Punjabi singer who claimed to be Rhiti Tiwari’s stepfather, has announced his separation from Rhiti’s mother, Rani Tiwari, calling it a happy moment for him.
Amid the buzz around actor-politician Manoj Tiwari’s daughter Rhiti’s exit from the captive reality show during the midweek eviction, Ekam uploaded a video on his Instagram handle announcing his separation from Rhiti’s mother, Rani Tiwari.
Captioning the video, “Separation ho gaya,” Ekam said, ” Yeh hoti hai social media ki power. Teen char reels kya dali, sab kuch ho gaya. Aap logon ne itna pyaar diya, main jeevan me isko nhi bhul paunga. (This is the power of social media. In just three or four reels, everything happened. You people have showered me with so much love that I cannot forget it for my whole life.).”
Reflecting on the tough phase he faced for the past years, Ekam shared, “Main itne time se stress me jugar raha tha, do saal ho gaye the mujhe, but aaj jake mujhe, meri abhi ki life me chain ka saas aaya tha. Main totally mentally free ho gaya hoon. Kyunki aaj mai aur Rani bilkul separate ho gaye hai. (I was in stress for quite a long time; it has been two years since I was able to take a breath of relief. Now I am totally mentally free, and this is because today Rani and I have been separated.”
He further added, “Ab mera Rani aur Rhiti ki family se dur dur tak koi nata nhi hai. Kyunki beech me sab bando ne baith ke settlement kara diya hai. Mujhe paper pe, hum pure tarah se alag ho chuke hain. So main bahut khush hoon, bhai. (Now I have no connection with Rani and Rhiti because people sat down and settled it. Rani and I are legally separated on paper. So I’m very happy.)”.
Lastly, he shared, “Ye sab apki badaulat hua hai, matlab main soch bhi nhi sakta ki aap logon ne kitna pyaar diya hai. Ab se Ekam Bawa dil khol ke gane gayega, dil khol ke apna kam karega. (This all could have happened because of you all people (fans), and I cannot imagine the love you have poured. Now Ekam Bawa will sing the song wholeheartedly and do my work wholeheartedly).”
Rhiti Tiwari and her mother have legally denied any marital or step-parent relationship with Ekam Bawa. Rhiti’s mother, Pratima Pandey (Rani), and her team have issued an official legal notice calling Ekam’s “husband” and “stepfather” claims completely false, baseless, and defamatory.
