It was an IndianWikiMedia.com exclusive report about Ashvini Yardi’s Vinyard Films coming up with an emotional saga on Discovery JEET titled ‘Mera Papa Hero Hiralal’. We had reported about popular actor Sarwar Ahuja and Mom fame child artiste Riva Arora playing the lead roles. (If you have missed out the story, read it here – IWMBuzz).
We now hear of Bollywood actor Krishna Bisht playing a pivotal role in the series. Krishna has been part of films Vicky Donor, Goliyon Ki Rasleela – Ramleela, Newton etc. His noteworthy work on TV has been in the show The Adventures of Hatim.
As per a credible source, “Krishna Bisht will play the close friend of Sarwar Ahuja. His character Shankar will not only share a close bond with the father but will also have a cute bond going with the eight year old kid, Riva in the series.”
As we know, Mera Papa Hero Hiralal is the story of a single father and his eight years old daughter.
We buzzed Producer Ashvini Yardi and also dropped a text to the channel spokesperson but did not get any revert till we filed the story.
The show is presently on floor with shoot in Mumbai being in full swing. The team shot in Lucknow recently for the show’s first outdoor schedule.
Discovery JEET is scheduled to launch early next year (2018).
