Swaad Aa Gaya is a Punjabi show, thus the main focus will be Punjabi audiences’ taste buds—how, what and why Punjabis love to eat. However, it is designed to showcase worldwide cuisines with desi Punjabi toppings on it.
Chef Sakshi further adds, “Lockdown means enjoying good food with your special ones, especially kids. It does get difficult to experiment every time, especially if the process is difficult. In Swaad Aa Gaya, our aim is to make cooking simple yet interesting. One can learn to make Chinese ‘Punjabi’ noodles, continental ‘Punjabi’ food, Punjabi burgers and pizzas, all kind of food with Punjabi flavor in it. It’s a mélange of Indo-Mughal-Persian-Afghani cuisines.”
Chef Sakshi Batra has been in the food industry for the last 22 years. She turned her passion into profession at the age of 17. She loves to experiment in her kitchen and with all her recipes. What excites her the most is the challenge to amalgamate new world dishes to the traditional ones. She runs her cafe in CGC, Landran with the name of “Chaaigarh By Sakshi Batra”
