The rumour mills had been abuzz with the reports that Sheezan Khan had been replaced by Abhishek Nigam as the star of the ongoing television programme Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul. According to a recent report, this has since been confirmed by insiders of the programme. Sheezan has spent the past three weeks in police custody concerning the passing of the other show lead, Tunisha Sharma.
Sheezan Khan was Tunisha Sharma’s co-star on the television series Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul, and the two were romantically involved for a while. However, the couple split up 15 days before Tunisha Sharma committed suicide. She reportedly suffered from depression as a result of their abrupt split.
Sheezan Khan was using Tunisha Sharma, according to Tunisha Sharma’s mother, for the past three to four months, she said. Speaking about Abhishek Nigam’s transition, a report stated, “It will be shown that Ali was gravely injured and was healed and got a new face through ancient cosmetic surgery,” Earlier, there were rumours that Avneet Kaur shall be replacing Tunisha in the show, however her mother has stated, “Avneet will not be playing the role of Mariam in the show Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul. These rumours are not true,” as quoted by DNA.
