Balaji Telefilms’ weekend fantasy show Chandrakanta – Ek Mayavi Prem Gaatha is slowly nearing its closure!!
Chandrakanta is due to be replaced by Ekta Kapoor’s much-awaited supernatural Naagin 3.
We hear that the cast and crew of Chandrakanta have been unofficially intimated that the show will be winding up in May with Naagin taking its place from early June.
A credible source tells us, “The show has had a good run overall. It has had its share of entertainment value and followers.”
Chandrakanta has had the power-packed performance of Urvashi Dholakia with Vishal Aditya Singh and Madhurima Tuli playing the lead roles.
Naagin 3 will go on floor very soon, post which the news of Chandrakanta’s closure will be made official to the team is what we believe.
We buzzed the actors of Chandrakanta but did not get to hear from them.
We reached out to the channel spokesperson but did not get revert till we filed the story.
As we know, Naagin 3’s cast will be spearheaded by Surbhi Jyoti, Pearl V Puri, Anita Hassnandani, Karishma Tanna, Ankit Mohan.
