Colors TV shows ‘Mahadev And Sons’ and ‘Seher Hone Ko Hai’ are creating buzz online, but for all the wrong reasons. As reported, Manasi Salvi, who played the role of Bhanu in Mahadev And Sons, recently quit the show following a controversy in which the makers claimed a breach of contract and said the actress left due to fewer working days. Similarly, actress Mahhi Vij, who made her comeback with Seher Hone Ko Hai, also quit the show shortly after, and here’s what led to her decision.
Mahadev And Sons
As per the latest reports, Manasi Salvi has responded to the controversy surrounding her exit. As claimed by the makers of the breach-of-contract case, the actress revealed that she had mailed the producer and the Color TV channel, stating she would quit by mid-May beforehand, but the lack of response led to the chaos. She highlighted that the producer, Saurabh Tewari, who owns Parin Multimedia, also led her to believe that the channel was not keen on her character, and it was he who insisted, which led to minimal screen time.
Manasi also claimed that she was manipulated into believing that the channel was against her, and also revealed that her schedule had been poorly managed for the past seven months. Also, she shared that she received an email confirming her exit, stating she cannot leave before May 15. After she received an email confirming her exit on April 21, she received another email on May 1 stating that her old contract was being renewed and that the new one was being rescinded.
In response to this behavior, her legal team called it completely invalid and is now filing a defamation case against producer Saurabh Tewari for distorting facts and trying to harm her reputation.
Seher Hone Ko Hai
Actress Mahhi Vij, who marked her TV comeback after a 9-year hiatus, reportedly exited the show Seher Hone Ko Hai. Earlier, it was stated that she is leaving because she will be participating in another show. However, the latest reports suggest that the actress was unhappy with the creative direction of her character. Also, the actress felt her portrayal of Kausar Baig has aged her on-screen image beyond what was expected earlier, deviating from a strong central arc. However, there is no confirmation yet.
