Amid changing dynamics in the television world, shows are being shelved soon after their release, and the next on the radar is the recently launched show Manpasand Ki Shaadi on Colors TV. According to the latest media reports, the show is set to go off-air soon. It has been only a couple of months since the premiere.

The reason makers are planning to axe the show Manpasand Ki Shaadi just a couple of months after its release is the poor viewership. The show was made with great effort and exceeded expectations thanks to its unique narrative, which resonates with younger audiences. However, despite all the efforts, the show failed to win hearts, leading to declining viewership and poor TRP rates.

Starring Esha Suryawanshi as Arohi Dewan and Akshit Sukhija as Abhishek Dewan, the show drew attention but didn’t last long. The show launched just two months ago on 11 August 2025, and news of it going off-air surfaced in November. However, no exact date or month has been revealed, nor have the makers shared an official statement regarding this.

And if this news turns out to be true, it will mark another recent failure. Across all channels, several shows have been shelved due to poor TRPs, and that is the only option makers have if a show fails to attract viewers.

Manpasand Ki Shaadi is a Colors TV show produced by Rajshri Productions starring Akshit Sukhija and Esha Suryawanshi.
