Colors TV is strengthening its prime-time lineup with new shows. Along with the revamp, the channel is also planning to boost viewership for its existing shows. And now we have a major update on Colors TV’s one of its most popular shows, Mangal Lakshmi.
According to the media reports, Mangal Lakshmi is set to undergo major changes. The show will soon take a major generational leap, and the storyline will primarily focus on Mangal’s children, played by Deepika Singh. However, there is no official confirmation yet.
But with a generation leap, the show’s cast changes, and new leads are introduced while old ones exit. In the case of Mangal Lakshmi, there is no confirmation on whether Deepika Singh and Naman Shaw will continue as the leading pair after the leap. Also, if the leads won’t change, it hints that the show may take a big leap, but not a generational one. However, with the leap, new characters will enter the show.
Makers of Mangal Lakshmi planned major changes to revive its TRP, as the show is doing well, but failed to secure a top-five position for quite a few months.
