The lockdown in Maharashtra forced television and film shootings to embark on a new journey and select their favorable shoot destinations and resume the shoot. A lot of TV shows from Mumbai, and South reached the beautiful locales of Goa, to kickstart shoot after the lockdown was imposed in Maharashtra. With Goa also deciding to get into a total lockdown mode, speculations on the Goa shoot being halted were being talked about.
Now, news is that the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) on Thursday canceled all the granted permissions given for film and television serial’s shoot in Goa. This is a report that has come on The Indian Express today. As per the report, they have on quote ESG’s Vice Chairman Subhash Phal Desai who quoted to them, “We will not allow any shootings of films or television serials n public or private properties,”
This comes after Goa reported 3946 new Covid cases and 71 deaths.
As of now, the land of Goa has all the Balaji Telefilms shows, the shows produced by Full house Media, and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin of Star Plus and Shaurya aur Anokhi Ki Kahani shooting there.
