There is yet again a rise in the Covid tally in Maharashtra and this has been observed in the entertainment industry too, with actors continuing to fall prey to the virus.
Recently, we have seen the Star Plus show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin leads Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma testing positive for the virus. Actors Manit Joura and Ariah Agarwal of Dangal show Prem Bandhan has also tested positive and are home quarantined.
Now the scare has hit the set of the Star Plus show Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali which is being shot at Kolhapur. The shoot of the show has seen a halt over this week with few actors and crew members testing positive.
Sandiip Sikcand, Producer of Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali issued a statement that is as follows, “Few artists and crew members who are a part of the TV show Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali have tested positive for COVID-19 and are asymptomatic. All of them have received medical help/attention and are under quarantine. The Kolhapur Municipal Corporation (KMC) is informed and the sets have been fumigated and sterilized as per the protocol. We are constantly in touch with the entire team as their health is our priority. We stand by our commitment to safety and will continue to ensure that all measures prescribed by the authorities are being adhered to.”
