Ever since Bigg Boss 19, Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola have been creating buzz -from whether about their love story, or Akanksha not wanting to have a child, or Gaurav’s confession of wanting kids. Netizens and fans have been noticing the loopholes for more than a year, but the two never clarified this, and during Lock Upp season 2 on the premiere day itself, the actress made an explosive revelation of her separation from Gaurav.

However, why the divorce news comes out as a big shock is the fact that Akanksha stated she and Gaurav have been living separately for more than a year; that means it all started during Bigg Boss 19, but their chemistry inside the house, their together appearances throughout the past year, vlogs, birthday surprises, etc., have left fans confused and have raised questions. Following her announcement, internet users quickly accused the actress of sustaining a “fake” relationship online for brand favors.

Picking up the discussion, in a recent conversation, podcaster Siddharth Kannan shared with journalist Aastha Atray how people were dissecting Gaurav and Akanksha’s relationship, speculating something off. Still, both used to deny it, saying it’s all good, but then Akanksha revealed they have been living separately for a year. Just 5 months ago, they were making vlogs together, building their YouTube channel, making appearances everywhere together, and chilling—so is this cheating the public, or what’s her point of view?

Speaking up on the matter, Aastha shared that in the case of Gaurav and Akanksha, people should get a reality check: everything on Instagram is not real, and social media is not real.

Further explaining, Aastha mentions that people do it for their own certain reasons; however, acknowledging how Akanksha even went inside Bigg Boss 19 to meet Gaurav, and both showed great chemistry, and now they are saying they were not together for the last year, which makes her understand that not everything on Instagram is real.

Concluding the point, Aastha shared that it’s a good thing that it happened because now people know and understand that they don’t have to compare themselves with celebrities, and their relationship does not need an Instagram reel approval.
