Talented Screenplay Writer and actor Ashok Mishra will soon enter Star Bharat’s Ayushman Bhava (Citram Screens and White Horse International)!!
He will come in as Samaira’s (Megha Gupta) father, the man who put his daughter under severe pressure to be instrumental in the killing of the guy she loved, Avinash (Avinash Sachdev).
Ashok Mishra is a renowned name in the field of writing. A two time National Award winner for screenplay writing, Ashok Mishra has written as well as acted in many movies of ace film maker Shyam Benegal. He is also a noted lyricist.
Some of the movies that Ashok has been part of as actor include Welcome to Sajjanpur, Well Done Abba.
For the uninitiated, Ashok Mishra is the dialogue writer for Ayushman Bhava. And now he dons an actor’s hat too for the show!!
As per sources, “His character will be multi-layered with lot of intrigue. He will be a negative character. Soon the back story will be revealed as to how he would have been instrumental in the killing of Avinash.”
When contacted, Ashok Mishra confirmed the news to IndianWikiMedia.com saying, “Yes, I am the dialogue writer for Ayushman Bhava and now I enter as actor. I have earlier written in TV shows Bharat Ek Khoj and Chacha Choudhary. Also, I have acted in the popular show Kumkum Pyaara Sa Bandhan and Chacha Choudhary. I wanted to write for some different TV shows on the lines of intrigue and that was when Anuradha Sarin approached me for Ayushman Bhava.”
Earlier, we had written about actress Aruna Sangal playing mother of Samaira. Ashok Mishra will play the onscreen husband of Aruna Sangal’s character.
